IBS Electronics received AS9120B certification, delivering on our commitment to continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS).

What is AS9120B?
AS9120B is a company-level certification based on a standard published by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) titled “Quality Management Systems — Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Distributors.” This standard includes ISO 9001:2015.
This certification is intended for organizations in the aviation, space, and defense industries that procure and sell parts, materials, and assemblies.
The AS9120B standard revises AS9120A; some of the changes include an emphasis on product safety requirements, counterfeit parts prevention, and performance evaluation.
Certifications are issued by third party certifying bodies. For an organization to maintain AS9120B certification, they will be subjected to annual or regularly scheduled audits where the organization’s compliance with the standard is evaluated by the certifying body.
